A ministerial director is a professional and as such is always seeking for ways to improve his excellence for God. An important part of this growth is evaluation. Tools and methods for accomplishing this can be any or all of the items below. More can be found on some of these with a simple Google search.
•LPI 360 Leadership Evaluation - Gives a comprehensive evaluation from peers work superiors and those ministerial directors oversee or mentor
•Strengthfinders 2.0 - Identifies personal strengths and how to best work within those qualities
•Meeting with conference administration - Ask for a once a year face-to-face evaluation from those over you along with a written follow-up report
•Prayer and time with God - “Examine me, O God, and know my mind; test me, and discover my thoughts.” - PSalm139:23
These are but a few of the many ways ministerial directors can be a sharp instrument in the Holy Spirit’s toolbox.
