David VandeVere

Biographical Info
As vice president for finance, David VandeVere serves the members of the Mid-America Union by overseeing finances and promoting stewardship. He ensures that funds entrusted to the care of the Mid-America Union Conference are managed with the highest professional and spiritual standards, in alignment with denominational policies and professional requirements.
David VandeVere graduated from Southern Adventist University with a BBA in accounting. He subsequently earned his CPA certification and received trust certification from the General Conference Trust Committee. In 2006, he completed the Pastoral Coaching Systems program through Ministry Advantage in Dallas, Texas. VandeVere has worked as a public accountant, served as treasurer and secretary for the Minnesota Conference, and led Damascus Grace Fellowship in Maryland as senior pastor for 10 years before refocusing on financial ministry in 2014.
David and his wife, Cindy, have two sons: Steve and Ryan. Ryan is married to Lachelle, and the couple has two sons, David and Cindy’s grandsons.
